Grace Kwong

Grace Kwong joined SPICE as a financial analyst in March 2024 from Stanford’s Cost Management & Analysis Department in Business Affairs, where she led the indirect cost rate (IDC) development. She also worked in the finance department of the Graduate School of Business from 2006 to 2008, primarily supporting GSB Development before relocating to Hong Kong for family reasons.

Before rejoining Stanford, she navigated the intricacies of healthcare finances at Sutter Health, managing both inpatient and outpatient finances. Grace also held various financial planning and analysis roles in different multinational corporations, including technology giants Sun Microsystems, McAfee, and Dell, as well as healthcare leaders Merck & Co, Gilead Sciences, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. She partnered with various functions to manage budgets, provided variance analysis, developed complex revenue and expenses analysis, and provided decision support and strategic recommendations.

Grace holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Golden Gate University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (marketing emphasis), and a minor in Chinese Studies from University of California, Berkeley.  She also holds a CPA License from the State of Washington.
